A man is set to appear in court following an alleged serious assault in Perth yesterday evening.
The 43-year-old man will be at Perth Sheriff Court after the alleged incident at Duncansby Way around 5pm on Thursday August 8.
A Tayside Police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 43-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an alleged serious assault at a house in Duncansby Way, Perth shortly after 5pm yesterday.
“He has been kept in custody and is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court later today.”
A witness told The Courier that there had been a large police and ambulance presence in the area yesterday evening.
