Kinross Show is the latest event to fall victim to the bad weather after organisers announced that tomorrow’s event has been cancelled.
Committee members decided to cancel Saturday’s agricultural event at Loch Leven due to fears over health and safety.
A spokesperson for Kinross Show said: “It’s with a very heavy heart the committee have just decided to cancel the show tomorrow, putting the health and safety of visitors at the forefront of our decision.
“We will be contacting all exhibitors, trade stands and sponsors in the next few hours but please help us spread the word and share this post with friends and family.
“It’s not easy to make this decision especially after all the hard work that Jane (Secretary), Andrew (President) and the committee have put in over the last 18 months to put on this one-day show.
“Please be patient with us as we try to notify everyone and understand it is not the outcome we wanted but it is the best for the show and you our visitors.”
