A horse which fled after its trailer overturned on the A9 has been caught by its owners.
The accident happened near Tibbermore just before 9am on Tuesday morning.
A woman had to be freed from her vehicle after the one-car collision. Police Scotland said she suffered minor injuries.
A spokesman confirmed that the horse was caught after a short time. “It was taken to a nearby field and is doing well,” he said.
The crash is causing traffic congestion on the southbound carriageway.
