Thousands of homes were left without water and a leisure centre was forced to close after a water main burst in Kinross-shire.
Around 5,000 properties in Kinross and Milnathort were affected, along with the Live Active Loch Leven campus.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Water said that some homes had suffered a loss of pressure, while others were cut off completely after the main failed in the early hours of yesterday morning.
She said: “A burst water main on Old Perth Road, Milnathort, was reported to us around 3.30am.
“Engineers were on site as soon as possible to isolate the issue and minimise the number of properties affected while repairs were completed. Water supply was restored by 8.30am.”
