Police raced to the scene after a tractor collided with a lorry in Balbeggie this afternoon.
Officers remained on the scene at the junction between the village’s Main Street and St Martin’s Road where the had tractor overturned.
One of the drivers, an elderly man, was taken to hospital to be checked over.
The incident happened at around 2.20pm and SFRS also attended the scene. The road reopened an hour later.
A police spokesperson said: “A 79-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be checked over but we understand that there have been no injuries.”
