Person taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Crieff

Police raced to Crieff this morning after an elderly man was struck by a car in the town centre.

Officers rushed to West High Street just before 9.45am after being alerted by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The man was being taken to hospital after being hit by a red Nissan Note and his  injuries are understood to be “quite serious”.
