An iconic Tayside kirk has illuminated the Perth skyline.
The Church of Scotland has spent the summer installing a series of LED floodlights at St Matthews.
The Gothic Tay Street building, which recently underwent an ÂŁ875,000 renovation, was previously lit with large, halogen bulbs that proved too expensive to maintain. The new lights allow for the building to be illuminated in a variety of colours.
The floodlights, which were demonstrated as part of a social supper evening, complements similar changes made to lights on nearby Perth Bridge.
