A hotel worker brandished a 10-inch knife at colleagues following a drunken argument.
Lukasz Sawicki was employed at the MacDonald Loch Rannoch hotel in Kinloch Rannoch at the time of the offence.
Depute fiscal Mairi Graham told Perth Sheriff Court a drunken Sawicki had become argumentative after he and his girlfriend had a disagreement about another member of staff.
Sawicki, 31, who now lives in Devon, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing while he was in possession of a knife on August 13.
Sheriff Gillian Wade said: “I am concerned that you used a knife and it was a large one.” She imposed 170 hours of unpaid work.
