A back road between Rattray and Alyth has been closed “for the foreseeable future”.
Traffic is banned from the U96 Tullyfergus road fom its junction with the C446 to its junction with Hill of St Fink.
The emergency closure has been put in place due to works on drainage and collapsing verges.
Motorists are advised to take the main road.
