A man has been rushed to hospital following an industrial accident at a shop in Perth which saw emergency service close down a busy Fair City Street this morning.
Multiple fire engines, police cars, ambulances and the air ambulance rushed to the incident believed to have taken place within the Co-op shop on Main Street, Bridgend.

One witness said: “I first saw them about 7.30am. The fire engines and the police started shooting through.
“They came over the bridge and pulled up outside the Co-op and then the air ambulance arrived.”
Officers said inquiries are ongoing into the incident.
A spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance on Main Street, Perth, following a report of an industrial accident within a premises.
“A man has been taken to hospital and emergency services remain at the scene.
“Inquiries are ongoing and the Health and Safety Executive have been informed.”
The road has now reopened.
