A railway engineer has appeared in court in connection with allegations relating to a sting operation by a paedophile hunter group.
James Kettles, 61, is alleged to have sent videos of his naked body to a person online, believing the recipient to be a child.
Kettles, of the Oakbank area of Perth, appeared in private at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday.
He entered no plea and was released on bail.
Kettles is alleged to have been communicating in a sexual manner with who he thought was a child called Ruby between August 22 and October 12 this year.
It is alleged he tried to communicate indecently with a child, who was in fact a woman, and repeatedly sent naked videos.
