Tayside Police have launched an investigation after vandals smashed the windows of a cafe on a Perthshire market square.
Hundreds of pounds worth of damage was caused during the incident on Friday October 11 between 8.20pm and 8.30pm at the Cafe On The Square in Alyth.
Officers are hunting a large group of people who attended the square having arrived on a bus from Blairgowrie.
They believe that it was one or more members of this group who are responsible for the damage.
A Tayside Police spokesperson said: “The damage is thought likely to have been caused by one or more members of this group, and there are likely to be a number of potential witnesses.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.
