There are now 31 people who have contracted covid-19 in Tayside and 12 in the kingdom. On Thursday there were 27 cases in Tayside and nine in Fife. Earlier on Friday afternoon, Nicola Sturgeon revealed the number of Scots who have been diagnosed jumped to 322 – and said even stricter measures could be brought in to tackle the covid-19 outbreak across the country. This is an increase from 266 on Thursday, when Scotland’s death toll doubled to six.
