The latest figures show 47 people in Tayside have been officially diagnosed with covid-19 along with a further 19 in the kingdom. The Scottish number has risen to 499. A total of 9364 tests have been carried out in Scotland. Earlier on Monday Scotland’s chief medical officer Dr Catherine Calderwood said the true number of coronavirus cases across the country could already be in the thousands.
