More than 700 people across Scotland have now tested positive for coronavirus – with some 86 across Tayside and Fife.
The number of people who have contracted covid-19 in Tayside is now 57 and 29 in the Kingdom. This is a rise from 48 and 25 were in Fife in the past 24 hours.
Across Scotland 719 people have tested positive.
It comes after Nicola Sturgeon revealed that 22 people in Scotland had died after contracting the disease.
Speaking at a press conference in Edinburgh she said: “I can tell you with sadness as always there has been a further six deaths of patients who tested positive for coronavirus.
“I extend my sincere condolences to those that have lost loved ones.”

A total of 10,676 in Scotland have now been tested for the virus.
The death toll is an increase of six on Tuesday, when 16 people were confirmed to have passed away after contracting covid-19 in Scotland.
Tuesday’s figures revealed a total of 584 people across the country had tested positive.
