Confirmed coronavirus cases in Tayside have surged to more than 100 in the past 24 hours.
According to the latest Scottish Government figures the number of people who have contracted covid-19 in the region has risen to 107, up from 76 on Thursday.
In Fife the number of confirmed cases is 41 – a rise of one.
Across Scotland 1059 people have now tested positive.

Another eight people have died after contracting covid-19, bringing Scotland’s death toll to 33. Seventy-two people are now in intensive care after testing positive for the disease.
However earlier on Friday, Scotland’s chief medical officer Dr Catherine Calderwood said more than 65,000 people across Scotland are now estimated to be living with covid-19.
On Thursday, 894 people across the country had tested positive for coronavirus.
A total of 12,273 tests have now been carried out in Scotland.
Across the UK, some 759 people have died due to covid-19 with 14,579 testing positive.
