The number of people across Tayside and Fife who have tested positive for coronavirus has surpassed 1000.
A total of 1045 locals have contracted Covid-19 in Courier country – 712 of them in Tayside and 333 in Fife.
This means Tayside now has the third highest number of cases in Scotland.
Additionally, 17 people are currently in intensive care in the local area with confirmed or suspected cases of the virus.
Thursday’s figures showed there were 667 cases in Tayside and 288 in Fife.
As of Friday morning, the number of confirmed cases of the virus in Scotland as whole is now 5,275 – meaning there has been a rise of 318 in the past 24 hours.
It comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed a further 48 people have died from Covid-19 in the country – bringing the death toll to 495.
A total of 1,832 patients are currently in hospital with confirmed of suspected cases of the disease, and increase of 51 from Thursday.
Ms Sturgeon said the number of people in intensive care overnight was 207, a fall of five, but warned against reading to much into the decrease.
