The number of patients in Fife hospitals fighting coronavirus has dropped for the second day in a row.
It comes despite the total number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 across Courier country rising to 1322 people, an increase of 99 in the past 24 hours.
Of this number, 898 of the cases were in Tayside and 424 were in Fife.
However the figures show that the number of people in hospitals fighting the illness in Fife has dropped by 12 in the past 24 hours to 105. In Tayside, the figure has risen by one to 110.
In the kingdom there are currently five people in intensive care with confirmed or suspected cases of the illness. In Tayside there are six, a drop of two on Tuesday.
As of Wednesday, the number of Scottish fatalities as a result of confirmed or suspected cases of Covid-19 is 962 – with a quarter of these in care homes.
