Police are hunting two men who disrupted a funeral service by fighting in a cemetery.
Officers were called when the men started arguing and fighting in Portobello cemetery in Edinburgh some time between 2pm and 3.30pm on Friday.
The incident caused “great distress” to other mourners and “will not be tolerated”, police said.
The pair, who are thought to have suffered various injuries, had left by the time police arrived and officers are now appealing for witnesses.
Detective Chief Inspector Kenny Gray said: “This incident caused great distress to those who were paying their respects to lost loved ones and we will not tolerate such inappropriate behaviour.
“We believe that many mourners within the cemetery will have seen what happened and will be able to provide information that can help with our investigation.
“Those individuals are asked to contact police immediately.”
