Currently appearing as Paw Broon in The Broons’ theatrical debut tour around Scotland, actor Paul Riley tells us about reprising his role as Winston in hit TV show Still Game after nine years away.
Five extra dates were recently added to a new run of live shows celebrating the programme, set to take place in February 2017.
The sitcom attracted its highest ever overnight audience for a single episode when the new series debuted, taking a 58% share of the Scottish TV audience with 1.3 million viewers – beating its previous record of 1.2 million.
The comedy grew as a spin-off from comedians Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill’s Chewin’ The Fat sketch show and originally ran for six series between 2002 and 2007 before an extended hiatus.
