Locals across Courier Country have been posting their images of today’s blue skies after a group of US F-35s passed over the area – leaving behind an unusual trail.
The patterns left behind by the military jets had locals scratching their heads after being spotted this morning above Dundee, and even as far afield as Blairgowrie and Perth.
The NATS revealed the trails were the result of American military jets, F-35s, passing over the city as they headed back to their homeland.
As they did so, they sent “sector strips” to local air traffic controllers.
