A huge appeal has been launched to find those missing following last night’s terror attack in Manchester.
The Missing in Manchester search has been trending on Twitter this morning, after 22 people were killed and a further 59 injured in an apparent suicide bomb attack at a Ariana Grande gig in the city.
Police were called to Manchester Arena following reports of an explosion at 10.33pm, shortly after the US singer had finished her performance.
Police have set up an emergency helpline to assist loved ones in tracking down those missing in the city. It is: 0161 856 9400.
Hotels across the city took frightened music lovers who attended the event under their wing last night.
Scots are among those being reported missing, with worried parents taking to social media to appeal for information.

Children were among those killed in last night’s blast.
Announcing the scale of the tragedy, Greater Manchester Police chief constable Ian Hopkins said: “What I can confirm is that there are children among the deceased.
“This has been the most horrific incident we have had to face in Greater Manchester and one that we all hoped we would never see.
“Families and many young people were out to enjoy a concert at the Manchester Arena and have lost their lives.”
