Prince Harry and fiance Meghan Markle arrived for a special visit in the Scots capital on Tuesday afternoon.
The couple toured part of the city on Tuesday, taking in Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and a visit to charity Social Bite, a social enterprise which supports the homeless.
Huge crowds gathered outside the castle as the city prepared for what was the royal couple’s first official joint visit to Scotland, with Harry and Meghan mingling with the crowds and speaking to locals.
The pair also attended a reception celebrating youth achievement at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, marking the Scottish Year of Young People.
It marked their fourth public appearance together.
The Royal Marines Band Scotland welcomed the couple to Edinburgh upon their arrival outside the castle. They will also watch the One O’Clock Gun being fired.
