Legendary Scots comedian Sir Billy Connolly left staff at a Highland hotel a hilarious message during a recent stay.
As reported in the Press and Journal, earlier this week the Glaswegian spent two days at the four-star Kincraig Castle Hotel, near Invergordon, while filming a new documentary.
As he was leaving, staff plucked up the courage to ask the Big Yin to sign a photograph of himself receiving his knighthood last October.
Sir Billy agreed, leaving a message true to his sense of humour.
He wrote: “To the staff at Kincraig Castle, f**k off!”
However the hotel’s staff aren’t letting the swearword put them off and insist it will be “a wee gift for the wall”.
Staff tweeted: “It was a great honour and privilege for us to have Sir Billy Connolly, the ‘Big Yin’ staying with us over the past couple of days!”
