Police were forced to close a Scots road on Tuesday morning after hundreds of drinks-lovers flocked to buy a rare bottle of whisky.
The B9102 road around the Macallan Distillery near Craigellachie, Moray, had to be closed by officers as 300 vehicles arrived, reports the Press and Journal.
One woman told the paper that hundreds of cars were circling Craigellachie throughout the morning, with people even some camping overnight for a chance to get their hands on a limited edition bottle of Macallan Genesis.
The rare whisky is priced at £495 and went on sale on a first-come first-served basis at 9.30am.
The B9102 re-opened at about 9.55am.
A spokesman for the Macallan distillery said: “Despite making our customers aware that there would be no access to the site prior to 9.30am, people gathered outside in the early hours of the morning, causing a local road to become blocked.”
