Scotland’s snowsports resorts are preparing for the 2018-19 season after a spell of freezing weather left several centres white.
Runs at Glenshee Ski Centre and the Nevis Range have been filling up after several nights of snowfall.
Staff posted to the Glenshee Ski Centre Facebook page on Tuesday to say: “Winter is really on its way now with snow still coming down hard.
“This dump is meant to thaw but let’s hope it’s a teaser of what to come.”
In the Highlands, staff at Nevis Range posted video footage of a white Aonach Mor on Wednesday morning following another spell of snowfall overnight.
The centre said: “Amazing scenes on the hill today as more snow lies at the #NevisRange Top Station!! #NevisIsComing.”
Glencoe Mountain Resort also posted a photograph of several large piles of snow on Tuesday and said that its snow-making efforts for the forthcoming ski season are now under way.
Cairngorm Mountain was also left white with snow following the weekend’s weather.
