Kingsbarns Distillery formally launched its first expression called Dream to Dram. The Kingsbarns emphasis is on Fife sourcing with all barley locally grown while the water comes from a new-tapped aquifer 100 metres beneath the distillery.
Visitors take a photograph on their phones of Holy Willie's Prayer (1785). This is a rare manuscript containing some of the most provocative social commentary by Robert Burns, which is on show for one day only at the National Library of Scotland at Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, to mark the anniversary of his birth on January 25, 1759.
