A search and rescue helicopter was called out to help two walkers who were reported “overdue” in the Cairngorms.
The pair, one of whom is thought to be from Dundee, are said to have been located at Faindouran Bothy in Glen Avon.
The Cairngorm and Braemar mountain rescue teams were both called out to the area.
The pair were located “safe and well” on Thursday morning.
A UK Coastguard spokesman confirmed Rescue 951, based in Inverness, had been tasked to the area shortly after 10.30am.
The pair were flown to Glenmore Lodge.
