A man has been arrested following the alleged murder of a star of Trainspotting 2 in Edinburgh.
Bradley Welsh, 48, who starred as Doyle in the Danny Boyle sequel, was found dead on the city’s Chester Street on Wednesday, April 17.
Police say a man has been arrested in connection with the alleged murder.
A statement from the force reads: “A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 48-year-old Bradley Welsh in Chester Street, Edinburgh, on Wednesday, April 17.
“He has been released pending further inquiries, however legal proceedings are now active.
“This investigation is continuing and anyone who has information, but has yet to come forward, is asked to do so immediately.”
