A British national has been killed in a helicopter crash in Norway, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has said. He was one of 13 people on board the aircraft which came down near the city of Bergen on Friday. A spokesman for Norway’s Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre (JRCC) said 11 people were killed and two are yet to be found. The helicopter was carrying passengers from an offshore oil field. An FCO spokesman said: “We have offered our support to the family of a British national who has sadly died in a helicopter crash in Bergen, Norway. “Our thoughts are with all those affected. We will remain in contact with local authorities.”
