A disgruntled patron of the Apple Store in Dijon, France, was filmed trashing the shop before being ejected through a fire exit.
In the middle of his frenzy, according to a translation by Mashable, the man is understood to have said: “Apple is a company that ‘violated’ European consumers’ rights.
“They refused to reimburse me, I told them: ‘Give me my money back’. They said no. So you know what’s happening? This is happening!”
The customer then proceeded to destroy multiple Apple products on display using a petanque boule.
The incident contrasts with the often determined loyalty of Apple’s customer base, some of whom recently camped out in the rain just to purchase the tech giant’s recent iPhone 7.
