An 18-year-old is the first victim of the Manchester terror attacks to be named.
Georgina Callander was one of the 22 killed in an apparent suicide bombing in Manchester Arena last night, which left a further 59 people injured.
Officers were called to the venue following reports of an explosion at 10.33pm, shortly after the US singer had finished her performance.
Callander took to social media just hours before the concert to say she was “so excited” to see the US singer on stage.
She is said to have been rushed to hospital following the blasts.
Her friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the music lover.
One pal posted: “To my beautiful best friend I hope you rest in peace my darling.”
Another described her a “living angel” and “the sweetest person that you ever did meet”.
Rest in peace Gina. I love you so incredibly much, you deserved the world & more. I'm so lucky to have met you and known you ? #manchester pic.twitter.com/sPrHq9I6M0

For those asking – she is the far left next to me in the first image. She was a living angel, the sweetest person that you ever did meet ✨?
