A minute’s silence held in Manchester paved the way for a heartfelt rendition of one of the city’s most cherished songs.

The crowd which gathered in St Ann’s Square began to gently sing Don’t Look Back in Anger by Oasis, as they paid tribute to the victims of a terror attack at the Manchester Arena.
As the minute’s silence came to an end, the lyrics to the song’s famous chorus
began to spread.
Twenty-two people were killed and 64 injured – 20 critically – in Monday’s atrocity.
Oasis are among the city’s most famous sons.
Manchester is known across the world as the home city of some of the world’s greatest rock bands, including The Smiths, Joy Division, The Happy Mondays and The Stones Roses.
