George Young, whose music has been immortalised by thousands of Dundee United fans, has died aged 70.
Scottish-born Young, who was raised in Australia, is known for producing and co-writing 70s John Paul Young hit Love Is In the Air, an anthem regularly heard around Tannadice.
The songwriter, record producer and musician is the brother of AC/DC legend Malcolm and Angus Young.
Young was a member of 609s rock band Easybeats.
He co-produced early AC/DC albums including Let There Be Rock, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, TNT, Powerage and High Voltage, also playing bass for them for a short time.
