Revellers in the town of Ibi near Alicante, Spain take part in the festival of Els Enfarinats to mark Holy Innocents’ day.

For about 200-years the inhabitants of Ibi annually celebrate with a mock battle using flour, eggs and firecrackers, outside the city town hall.

The annual celebration of Els Enfarinats has taken place or about 200 years.
Visitors celebrate with a battle using flour, eggs and firecrackers, outside the city town hall.
Firecrackers, eggs and flour are used in the celebrations.
Locals enjoy the celebrations.
