This weekend will see events across Britain to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Concorde’s maiden flight.
Thousands of aviation enthusiasts will flock to museums and airfields over the weekend to see the supersonic airliner on display.
They will have the opportunity to meet Concorde pilots, step on board the aircraft and view footage of the first flight.
Concorde 001 made its first test flight from Toulouse on 2 March 1969 and first went supersonic on 1 October. The first UK-built Concorde flew from Filton to RAF Fairford on 9 April 1969, piloted by Brian Trubshaw.
