UK users are experiencing issues with one of the most popular photo and messaging apps in the world.
Reports of problems with Snapchat have soared since Wednesday afternoon, according to the website Downdetector – a site which monitors digital outages.
On social media, “#snapchatdown” is trending with issues also reported in wider Europe and the US.
Users are said to be experiencing trouble receiving images and videos, and sending their own “snaps”.
Snapchat says it is working to resolve the issues.
A tweet by the app’s support team reads: “We’re aware some Snapchatters are having trouble using the app. Hang tight – we are looking into it.”
