In the third photo, from July 2 1982, the Queen chats with factory workers during a visit to the Fife town.
The fourth photo dates from July 1 1974 and shows crowds gathering at the Redpath Dorman Long site to watch a giant oil platform jacket embark on a 170 mile journey.
In the fifth picture, from May 14 1971, shoppers bustle around outside the Wonder Store on the High Street.
The final photo, from July 2 1982, shows the Queen chatting to Petty Officer Joe Smith at HMS Ajax, the headquarters of the Sea Cadets in Methil.
