First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has warned of “Brexit chaos for years to come” as she arrived in Dundee.
The SNP leader is giving a keynote election speech in Dundee.
It comes the night after the heads of the Tory and Labour parties, Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn, went head-to-head in a televised debate on ITV which neither the SNP or Lib Dems were invited to take part in.
Taking to the stage in Dundee, Mrs Sturgeon referenced the debate by saying “today feels a bit like the day after the night before”.
She went on to warn that Brexit would have an impact on jobs, the NHS and living standards.
She added: “The truth is Westminster is going to be engulfed by Brexit chaos for years to come. A vote for the SNP is a vote to escape the mess of Brexit.
“It is important to put Scotland’s future where it belongs, in Scotland’s hands. Not leave it in the hands of Boris Johnson.
“And at this election it has become clear that Westminster control means multiple threats to our NHS and to public services in Scotland.
“A vote for the SNP is a vote to escape Brexit. And to escape these threats to our public services.”
