Two confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported across Fife and Tayside in the past 24 hours.
The latest update from the Scottish Government shows the total number of positive cases in Fife since the pandemic began has risen by one to 885.
There are 57 people receiving hospital treatment in the region after testing positive for the virus.
One confirmed case has also been reported in Tayside, taking the region’s total to 1,687.
There are six people in hospital with a confirmed case of coronavirus.
Across Scotland, a total of 137,638 people have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these, 121,883 were confirmed negative and 15,755 were positive – an increase of 25 in the past 24 hours.
Of the people who have tested positive, 575 were in hospital last night – 11 of whom were in intensive care. There are four more people in intensive care with suspected Covid-19.
Since March 5, 3,904 inpatients have been discharged from hospital.
A further person has died after testing positive for coronavirus. Scotland’s death toll is now 2,448.
