A further four people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the past 24 hours in Scotland.
Today’s update from the Scottish Government shows the total number of positive cases in the country since March is now 18,551.
A total of 343,987 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these, 325,436 people have tested negative.
Since March 5, 4,151 inpatients who tested positive for Covid-19 have been discharged from hospital.
There have been no Covid-19 related deaths recorded since Saturday. Scotland’s death toll is 2,491.
A regional breakdown of the figures show there have been no new cases in Tayside or Fife in the past 24 hours.
There have been 940 positive confirmed cases in Fife since the pandemic began and 1,785 across Tayside.
On Saturday 27 confirmed cases of the virus were recorded across Scotland.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon tweeted on Saturday: “Another day of no deaths of confirmed cases. New cases being very closely monitored though. Positivity rate still under 1% but even small increases remind us threat of virus still very real. Please keep sticking to #FACTS advice to help us keep it under control.”
