A further 116 people have tested positive for coronavirus across Tayside and Fife in the past 24 hours.
Today’s update from the Scottish Government shows the total number of confirmed cases for Tayside has risen by 55 to 4,585.
The data also reveals there are 54 people in hospital after recently contracting the virus and nine receiving treatment in intensive care.
In Fife, 61 people have received positive test results since Saturday.
The total number of cases since the outbreak began in that NHS health board area is now 2,886.
A total of 57 people are in hospital in the area and 10 in intensive care.
Three more coronavirus-linked deaths registered in Scotland
Across Scotland, three Covid-19-linked deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours and a further 1,115 new cases confirmed.
The update confirms there are 1,245 people in hospital with a recently confirmed case of Covid-19 across the country and 111 people in intensive care.
Since the start of the outbreak, a total of 1,040,552 people in Scotland have been tested at least once. Of these people, 73,443 have tested positive and 967,109 were confirmed negative.
A total of 6,229 inpatients who tested positive for the virus have been discharged from hospital since March 5.
On Friday, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said she could not rule out Fife being placed into stricter coronavirus measures next week.
The kingdom is currently on level two of the national measures, but may have to enter level three when the re-evaluation is conducted next week.
On Saturday, the Scottish Government confirmed Scotland had recorded 39 deaths from coronavirus and 1,596 new cases in the past 24 hours.
