Michael Gove has become the latest member of the UK Government to go into self-isolation because of the coronavirus.
The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster is quarantining at home in accordance with official guidance after a member of his family began displaying “mild” symptoms on Sunday.
He is continuing to work as normal from his home.
The MP said: “Many thanks for (the) kind messages. In accordance with the guidance, I am isolating at home after a member of my family started to display mild symptoms of coronavirus on Sunday.
“I have not displayed any symptoms and am continuing to work as normal.”

It comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson entered intensive care on Monday night as his Covid-19 symptoms became more severe.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is already back at work after recovering from the virus.
And England’s Chief Medical Officer Professor Chris Whitty returned to work on Monday after developing symptoms.
Mr Johnson’s chief adviser Dominic Cummings has also self isolated due to Covid-19 symptoms.
