Picture by Kami Thomson 08-06-17 Former First Minister Alex Salmond has lost his seat to the Conservatives. The former SNP leader and first minister has held the Gordon constituency since 2015. However in one of the biggest shocks of the 2017 general election so far Tory candidate, Colin Clark, has won the seat from Mr Salmond. Speaking following the result, Mr Salmond told the crowd they “haven’t seen the last” of him. It comes after deputy-leader of the SNP, Angus Robertson, lost out to Tory Douglas Ross in Moray. Elsewhere the West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine seat was also won by the Conservatives.
