An online petition urging the UK Government to cancel Brexit has passed five million signatures. And tens of thousands of people from across Tayside and Fife are among those to have joined the campaign to revoke Article 50. We took a snapshot at 3.20pm today, showing how many people in each area have added their names. As of Monday afternoon, more than 5,536,000 people across the UK had signed the petition created by Margaret Anne Georgiadou. Of that total, 67,098 hailed from Angus, Dundee, Perth, Perthshire or Fife. In Dundee, 14,843 people had signed the petition as of Monday afternoon. In Angus the number was considerably smaller at 4730. However some 29,645 people in Fife have signed up to revoke Article 50. Across Perth and Perthshire the figure was 17,880.
