Three MPs are out of the Tory leadership race.
Hopefuls Esther McVey, Mark Harper and Andrea Leadsom have been eliminated from the contest following the first ballot.
Boris Johnson received the most votes with 114, followed by Jeremy Hunt with 43 and Michael Gove with 37.
Conservative leadership hopefuls need at least 17 votes in the secret ballot to go through to the second round, with anyone below that threshold automatically eliminated.
Rory Stewart, who has ties to Perthshire, remains in the race after receiving 19 votes.
Afterwards he tweeted: “THANK YOU – to all my colleagues who voted for me. We can win this. Realism, action, unity, trust. Thank you.”
Johnson posted: “Thank you to my friends and colleagues in the Conservative and Unionist Party for your support. I am delighted to win the first ballot, but we have a long way to go.”

– Matt Hancock: 20 votes
– Mark Harper: 10 votes
