Our second look into the ‘Football Comic Book Heroes’ book shows the front page of a comic I’d never heard of.
This is Sports Budget and the date of this edition was February 21, 1931.
I would be delighted to hear if any reader knows about this publication.
The sketch is brilliant with enthusiastic fans greeting their team as they take to the field.
Not sure the player far right would do much running about, though!
