One of Dundee Stars’ standout players has committed himself to the club for another year.
Fan favourite Brian Hart has put pen to paper for the 2018-19 Elite Ice Hockey League season.
The forward joined the club in September and made 52 appearances throughout the 2017-18 season.
The American, who was a second-round draft pick by Tampa Bay Lightning in 2012, quickly settled into life in the city and became a firm favourite among Stars fans.
Hart has also enrolled on Dundee University’s management programme.
Dundee Stars general manager and head coach Omar Pacha said: “Brian is a great player and an even better person. He plays the game the right way and is always hard and intense.
“He developed more offensively throughout the season. He was our most valuable player and a player that grew into a leadership role. We are really ecstatic to have Brian back.”
