Arbroath have delivered a positive message to their supporters amid the coronavirus crisis.
The Gayfield club, who have had their successful Championship campaign stopped in its tracks by Scottish football’s shutdown, said: “The COVID-19 virus has brought unprecedented times to our day-to-day lives and the current measures in place are firsts for our generation.
“We want everyone to have the best of health, none more so than in our local community.
“As a football club, on and off the park we are enjoying one of the most successful periods ever, which we are all hopeful will be resumed in the not too distant future.
“We have a fantastic loyal support and we are positive will get through the next few weeks.
“As a precaution we are keeping Gayfield closed for the time being and the gates will be locked, however we still plan on continuing to take orders for our shop and will be able to serve customers at the players entrance gate.”
