Brechin City manager Mark Wilson has made former Hearts striker Rory Currie his first summer signing.
A graduate of the Tynecastle club’s academy, the 22-year-old made 13 first-team appearances for the Jam Tarts and also had loan spells at East Fife, Forfar and Linfield.
Wilson is busy building for the new League Two season, which is scheduled to start on October 17 with a home game against Edinburgh City.
The Glebe Park boss said: “Rory has come from a good academy at Hearts and has plenty of first team football behind him having been on loan a couple of times.
“He is someone with real pace and a top finisher.
“We hope he can be the one to lead the line for us this season and I’m excited about the prospect of working with him.”
